FULL GOSPEL LEADERSHIP STRUCTURE

About the Lighthouse leaders

Gabriel Munsami
Vice-Chairperson

Gabriel grew up in a Christian home and came to know the Lord at 15 years old. Because he loved reading, his sister introduced him to a book “Prison to Praise”, where he learnt that according to Romans 8:28, nothing in life is incidental or accidental, because God has only one plan for His children. No doubt his faith grew as he tried to live this Scripture in every circumstance in his life. Gabriel was married to his wife in 1982 who showed him how to live a God-fearing life by serving Him. In 2001, together with his wife and daughter, they relocated from Durban to Johannesburg. He started fellowshipping and serving as a deacon at Lighthouse FG Church. In 2002, God afforded him the privilege of starting a prayer and counseling ministry at his work-place where he ministered mostly to youth from broken homes. Gabriel also has had the privilege of officiating many memorial services at work over the years.

After our Pastor was ordained, Gabriel served until now and can testify that he is happy to be an integral part of Lighthouse FGC where he has learnt a great deal and grew phenomenally over the years. His passion in ministry is the restoration of broken families. He believes God’s plan for him is to practically input into the lives of people by sharing his experiences of rejection, prison and a past sinful life and lead them back to the Lord where they will understand their experiences as all being part of the plan of God. Gabriel opens himself to every circumstance and view such as opportunities for the Lord to use him in the lives of the people he daily comes into contact with.

Estelle du Toit
Deaconess

Estelle grew up in a Christian home and invited Jesus into her life and was baptized at the age of 16 and was filled with the Holy Spirit a year later. At an early age she knew she was going to be a missionary. Estelle was involved in Children’s Ministry during College in 1979 and joined the AGM Youth Outreach in 1981. She was involved in Evangelism and became a Youth Worker with the AFM Church in Van Dyk Park, Boksburg in 1982. Estelle joined Youth With A Mission (YWAM) in 1984 and was involved in YWAM Delmas, where she did a Discipleship Training School, where she was involved in Children’s Ministry and Evangelism. In 1985 she went to YWAM Kraaifontein in the Cape where she was involved in Evangelism and assisted with administrative work in the base camp. During 1987/88 Estelle returned to Delmas and completed a Counselling Course, assisted with Children’s Ministry, and was involved in a few drama productions too. Estelle has a servant heart and is at present a Board member of the church, overseeing the Senior Sunday School, involved in the ladies’ meetings, new members introduction in the church, and in the intercessory prayer group. She has a desire to be more spiritually mature in her walk with the Lord while serving God at the Lighthouse.

She loves teaching the Word of God, worship and dancing for the LORD GOD ALMIGHTY!

Herve Tehedy
Deacon

Herve was saved in October 1993 in San-Pedro (Ivory Coast) after a miraculous healing at age 18. A week later was baptized in the Holy Spirit with evidence of speaking in Tongues. Herve was water baptized and trained to become an ordained kid evangelist at age 19.

In 2000 Herve was ordained in ministry in Johannesburg ,  involved in many church planting activities and Holy Spirit revival meetings in South Africa and Mozambique.

In December 2008 Herve and his wife Ms Fatima Tehedy, a trained psychologist, embarked on 10 years missionary of work in Mozambique and Angola following the lead of the Holy Spirit. The Lord has honored their faith in His word and blessed them with two boys on the mission field and over 15 local churches planted and 150 orphans under their care.

In 2016 the Lord instructed Herve to relocate and take the fire of the Holy Spirit revival back  to Johannesburg. In December 2017, Herve and family were back in Johannesburg.  Six months later they started a voluntary mission work at a church in Soweto, where a Holy Spirit Revival broke out and is still happening to date.

End of 2020 the Lord instructed Herve and Family to handover the Soweto mission to other ministers and wait on Him for the next move.  Before mid-2021, Herve was led by the Lord to re-join the Lighthouse Full Gospel Church. In February 2022 Herve has been elected as a deacon and also as an elder on the church board, where he is happily serving.

Herve believes that he is called to teach, preach and practice the gospel of the Kingdom of God for the salvation of soul, spirit and body.
